Thesis Title: Preparation of Carbon Coated Manganese Nickel Nanoparticles and Supercapacitor Characteristics

Research Direction: Supercapacitor

Graduate school:Tianjin Jiewei Power Industry Co.

Introduction: During the graduate study, we mainly used stagnant arc plasma nanopowder preparation equipment to prepare (Mn7C3,Ni)@C core-shell nanoparticles with Ar gas as the protective gas, CH4 as the carbon source, tungsten pole as the cathode and manganese nickel mixture as the anode, and then the nanoparticles were oxidized in a vacuum tube furnace to obtain (Mn3O4,NiO)@C core-shell nanoparticles. The above nanoparticles were analyzed and characterized by XRD, Raman, XPS and TEM to study the effect of different Mn-Ni ratios on the electrochemical properties of the nanoparticles, and the final research results were applied to supercapacitors to achieve the goals of low cost, high theoretical specific capacity, high stability and safety without pollution in the preparation of raw materials for supercapacitors. During the postgraduate period, she published one patent and one paper on the above research, which not only protects the legal rights and interests of Dalian University of Technology and Liaoning Key Laboratory of Energy Materials and Devices, but also provides a reference basis for the university's research and the subsequent research of the enterprise technicians.
