Introduce:Metal soft magnetic composites are widely used in photovoltaic, new energy vehicles and communication technology because of their excellent magnetic properties such as high saturation magnetization, strong resistance to DC bias and low high-frequency magnetic loss. As a typical soft magnetic material, carbonyl iron powder has good magnetic properties, but at the same time, the high conductivity of carbonyl iron powder will cause a strong eddy current when it interacts with the alternating external magnetic field, resulting in a decrease in the effective cross-sectional area of the magnetic core, and obvious loss at high frequency conditions, resulting in energy waste. In addition, as an active metal, carbonyl iron powder is easy to corrode at high temperature, resulting in deterioration of magnetic properties. These drawbacks limit the further application of carbonyl iron powder in high frequency and high power inductor devices. In order to meet the development requirements of high frequency, high efficiency and miniaturization of inductors, and to address the contradiction between magnetic properties and magnetic losses of soft magnetic composite materials, this paper takes carbonyl iron powder as the research object, uses mechanical ball milling method and hydrolytic precipitation method to carry out insulation coating on carbonyl iron powder, and optimizes the comprehensive magnetic properties of iron based soft magnetic composite materials by adjusting process parameters.
